Back in late September we photographed Amanda + Erik's wedding here in Calgary.

They're not a very traditional couple (really none of our clients are..which we love!) and decided to get ready together. How cool is that! So we arrived at their house to capture the special moments of them helping each other get dressed, exchanging gifts (Amanda gave Erik a Breitling watch! Chad was very jealous!) and just enjoying their time together, without all the stress. After some photo time in the park with their puppy, we headed out into the country for their couple portraits and then downtown for their ceremony + reception at the fabulous Bonterra Restaurant.

It was such an awesome day and we loved being part of it!

What an awesome family! We had such a good time with these guys, hanging out in some back alleys around Calgary. This little guy had the cutest mohawk!

Okay, so first of all... I apologize for this long post. I just couldn't help myself!!

We were so thrilled to share in Candice + Brendan's wedding in Las Vegas last month. These guys are a lot of fun to hang out with and the great part was that we had two days shooting with them!

Day one, was the ceremony + reception, which was held at the Emerald at Queensridge. The ceremony + reception site looked gorgeous, thanks to the awesome planner, Christie from CLM Weddings.

Day two, we met up with Candice + Brendan for a photo shoot at the Neon Boneyard and then headed out to the desert with the bridal party.

We had such a great time - thank you guys for bringing us out!

While Chad was getting some photos of the outside of the building, he came across this little guy! Well, I shouldn't say little, this tarantula was HUGE!! Not something you'd see in Calgary!

What a privilege it was to travel to Oahu, Hawaii for Steve + Joan's wedding. We loved how intimate the day was as they celebrated their wedding ceremony with their closest family + friends.

I always knew Chad was the kind of guy that would give the shirt off his own back for someone, but I never expected it to literally happen. Steve realized about 15 minutes before the ceremony that his dress shirt was back at the hotel (45 minutes away)! So, Chad gave Steve the shirt he was wearing and shockingly it fit!! Thankfully chad was wearing a shirt underneath, so he didn't go totally bare chested for the day...although that would've been pretty funny!

It was such a beautiful sunny day and a few minutes into the ceremony it started pouring rain!

After the ceremony, we spent the afternoon getting a little wet in the water...okay really wet in the water! We had so much FUN with these guys!!
