What a privilege it was to travel to Oahu, Hawaii for Steve + Joan's wedding. We loved how intimate the day was as they celebrated their wedding ceremony with their closest family + friends.

I always knew Chad was the kind of guy that would give the shirt off his own back for someone, but I never expected it to literally happen. Steve realized about 15 minutes before the ceremony that his dress shirt was back at the hotel (45 minutes away)! So, Chad gave Steve the shirt he was wearing and shockingly it fit!! Thankfully chad was wearing a shirt underneath, so he didn't go totally bare chested for the day...although that would've been pretty funny!

It was such a beautiful sunny day and a few minutes into the ceremony it started pouring rain!

After the ceremony, we spent the afternoon getting a little wet in the water...okay really wet in the water! We had so much FUN with these guys!!

Back in August we met up with Meagan, Jonathan and their puppy Chevy for an engagement shoot. We had an awesome time playing around in some cool industrial locations!

I think we were near a wasp nest of something, cause I got stung by a wasp mid-shoot, it hurt at the time but I toughed it out! Two days later my arm was huge and I had a fever! Turns out that I got a little infection from that silly wasp but I'm much better now....just a wee bit paranoid of wasps now though! :)

In early September, we photographed the fabulous Miranda + Matt! Miranda wore a custom designed gown...it was gorgeous and she looked absolutely stunning! Thank you guys so much for including us in your wedding day!

The reception was held at Bonterra Restaurant.

At the end of August, we spent a few hours hanging out with Joel + Shauna for their engagement session. We started off at the school Shauna teaches for and ended off at the coffee roasting company that Joel works at.

Joel is actually one of the top Barista's in canada and is heading to Vancouver to compete in the nationals in October, he's going to totally rock it!!!

These two are hilarious and had us laughing the entire time! We're really looking forward to their wedding in May 2010!
